“Maybe the moon knows
something I don’t.”
A heartbreak ballad for the nights you leave the light on anyway. Upright bass, brushed drums, a muted trumpet and a voice that stays low and close.
Ten songs about desire, loneliness and the ones who got away. Piano, upright bass, brushed drums, tenor sax and strings, with the baritone up front.
Tap any song to play it. Hear them live at the next evening.
Two sets, one intermission and a room kept small enough to hear every breath. Free and invite-only. The address goes to approved guests only.
NELSON sings in a deep, warm baritone, and he spent ten years earning it. He played tuba and euphonium, then went on to the FAMU Marching 100 and the FAMU Wind Symphony. Now he puts that low end where it belongs: in a dim room, close to the mic, between the piano and the upright bass.
